I created two new sets of embossed overlays. Every set contains 6 overlays in JPG format (3600×3600 px, 300 dpi) with embossed patterns, perfect to mix and match with other overlays.

PSP Tip: Re-colouring with Paint Shop Pro

My favourite tool for re-colouring is the Hue Map. You find it under Adjust -> Hue and Saturation -> Hue Map …
This tool allows you to change the hues separately and to adjust the brightness and saturation if needed.

In this example, I changed just the orange hue to green.

Give it a try. It is really easy to understand and offers great possibilities.

PSP Tip: Recently Used Materials in Paint Shop Pro

If you want to use a material that you have just used a few minutes ago, just right click on the foreground or background material.

PSP will open a small window that offers the last ten material you used. So you don’t have to remember all the parameters. PSP will do that for you.

PSP Tip: Activating Tools with a Shortcut in Paint Shop Pro

Did you know that you can activate nearly every tool with a shortcut in PSP? This is very handy if you swtitch between tools very often.
SHIFT-x for example activates the eraser tool.
If you want tho know the shortcuts for the tools, just select Help -> Keyboard Map …
Then select Tools from the dropdown box and the table will show you the appropriate shortcuts.
